On this night, after three competitive rounds, Mike Karitsis got the nod on points, taking the victory in what was the first chapter of two impressive fighting careers. Vince would later become known for his toughness, durability and willingness to take on anyone, while Mike would establish himself as one of Victoria's respected competitors during the strong 1990s kickboxing scene.
