On May 25, 2013, a mixed martial arts tournament was held in Moscow on a grand scale under the auspices of the Legend promotion. The main event of the tournament was the fight of Alexander Emelianenko. Which was presented in many media as his return to professional sports. The American giant, weighing one and a half centners, approached the fight with Alexander with 11 defeats in a row, but at the same time played out his image 100%. He tried to get into a fight at the weigh-in, constantly assumed a very menacing appearance and gave extremely intimidating interviews with loud statements, apparently calling on all his experience in Japanese wrestling to raise the level of interest in the upcoming fight.
